IN the week that a British fashion icon stepped into the spotlight to become the new face - and feet - of a popular range of women's comfort shoes, newspapers have been full of stories about a new role for that perennial Christmas favourite ....the slipper. As Jilly Johnson - reputedly The Sun's first page three model - was unveiled as the famous face behind the new range Gluv ladies' shoes and boots, the naked truth about the humble slipper was vying with her for the headlines.

Top 10 T Shirt Shops
Do you have a hard time finding original t shirt websites regardless of how many Google searches you perform. Do you find yourself going to the same three t shirt sites even though there are hundred out there? I have become tired of the same Bustedtees, snorgtees, threadless websites which in my opinion put out some lame designs over and over again but seem to advertise on every website I go to these days. No wonder they have become major brands that dominate traffic online day in and day out. But does that really mean they are the best in the t shirt industry?

The Marvelous Silk!
We all know that silk fiber is a natural fiber that is obtained from silkworms. What's interesting to know is that there are farms to raise silkworms by feeding mulberry leaves for harvesting their cocoons! The silkworm creates its cocoon from a single silk thread which is about 3,500 feet long. When these cocoons are ready with all that surrounding silk, they are hand-picked and placed in an oven or hot water so that to kill the silkworm inside but not to damage the silk in the cocoon. Then they are soaked in water for easily identifying the end of the silk thread so that it may be unraveled from the cocoon.

Scrubs Protection Turns Into Scrubs Fashion
There was a point in time during the history of medicine in which a surgeon would walk into an arena style operating room and literally cut a patient open with non-sterilized operating tools dressed in plain street clothes. Needless to say many operations were not successful and would end in death. This was not necessarily due to poor medical practice; it was due to poor sterilization or opportunistic diseases caused as a result of not performing the surgery in a sterile environment with sterile clothing after a sterile scrubbing.

Different Types of Scrubs
Most of us today think of hospital scrubs as the traditional green cotton uniform that most medical professionals wear in their medical work environment. Typically personal choice and fashion do not run synonymous with discount scrub uniforms. The medical profession, by virtue of its very nature gravitates towards a sterile disposition. This sterility is great from a health care perspective but does nothing to aid our human moral as a professional or a patient. Health Care Professionals look to break this stereotype and dispel the idea that professional cleanliness and sterility have to only be represented by wearing pristine white or traditional green scrubs in the medical arena.

Wallets and History of the Canvas Wallet
Wallets are small and they are usually pocket sized tools that are apt for storing notes, credit cards, driver's licenses and other cards. The canvas wallet is associated more with men than it is women; however women carry what is called a purse rather than a wallet. It wasn't until the birth of the 'modern' wallet that canvas wallets came on the scene. The canvas wallets along with other forms of the wallet are very stylish nowadays and are actually considered a fashion accessory.

How to Care For Dress Shirts
To wash, iron, and fold a dress shirt will take about 15 to 20 minutes of work, assuming you have many shirts to work on. Your local drycleaner will typically charge $1 to $2 per shirt. So why spend the time to do the work yourself? Will the shirts last longer or look nicer when ironing them by hand compared to having them pressed at a drycleaner? The truth is, if you carefully select a good dry-cleaner, your shirts will last just as long, and will look much nicer than a shirt you ironed yourself.

Custom Men's Dress Shirts - 5 Highly Helpful Tips Before Buying
Some custom dress shirt makers (especially on the internet) say that they have a magic formula and that all you need to give them is your height, weight, and a few other descriptions which don't measure the size of your body parts, this generally results in a poorer fit than if at least nine measurements were taken. That said, it can still result in a good fitting shirt, but if all other things are equal it won't be better than taking measurements (if for example the two different methods were performed by the same tailor).

Well, you are not the only one that wanted a way to attach a necktie to your dress shirt to keep it in place , and especially for that purpose necktie accessories such as tie bars, tie clips, and tie chains have been invented.

Herbal Textiles - Give Yourself a Healthy Style
Environmental friendly fibers such as organic cotton and recycled polyester have become popular among the fabrics and apparel manufacturers. However, after these fabrics or the garments are manufactured, they have to be dyed in the same chemical dyes that are so harmful to the environment. Vegetable dyes, as an alternatives are used sometimes but in this type of dyeing too, certain chemicals such as copper sulphate and ferrous sulphate are used as catalysts. Thus, with much research at individual and industrial levels, the concept of herbal textile came into being.

Supra Footwear
Supra, the name itself reeks of something creative, new and fresh. Supra is a Latin word that stands for 'above and beyond' and the creator itself thinks its important to have a great name to appeal to a fresh, new crowd of hip, young youths. The Supra brand of footwear is not your conventional Nike Sneakers. Nikes are great, but many would prefer a contender, someone to come up with something new and exciting and give Nike a run for their money and in my personal view, I think Supra has done it. Breaking traditions, experimenting with colors and designs, and attracting a loyal enthusiast of big names from Nike to Converse to Adidas, Supra has managed to spontaneously combust in a market place swamped with black, lo-fi blando-sneakers. Supra's collection of neo-classical Skytops and their 14k gold Chad Muska model has caught the attention of many and has been sold out in nano-second.

Boxer shorts also known as loose boxers or as just boxers are a kind of underwear worn by men. The word has been used in English since 1944 for all-around-elastic shorts, as a result named after the shorts worn by pugilists, for who unimpeded leg movement is almost as significant as the entirely free arm movement of the bare-chested fighters. Reasons for a first choice for boxers can be attributed to their range of styles and designs as well as the way boxers look on the wearer.

If you are one of those lucky people who stand taller than the rest, then you probably already know just how hard it is to shop for clothes.
