Every year on the 23rd April we celebrate St. Georges day and many people use this day to dress up in fancy dress or an excuse for a party but here we look at St. George in more detail. St. George is the patron saint of England. He's commonly identified with England and English ideals of honor, bravery and gallantry - but actually he wasn't English at all.
