"A Well-Tied Tie is the First Serious Step in Life" - Oscar Wilde

I am often asked "What kind of tie knot should I use?" Over the years, there have been volumes written on this particular subject, most of which are rubbish. I came across a book quite recently called something like 100 different tie knots - firstly no one needs 100 different tie knots to choose from and having skipped through the book myself, it's obvious that the authors haven't got a clue, I couldn't find one of their knots that had been tied correctly.
