History of Aprons - Let's Tie One On!

Aprons are memory makers not just a piece of cloth designed to keep a person's clothes safe from stains. What do you think about when you think of aprons? For me, they symbolize motherhood, an unconditional love and time spent with family. I think of my grandmother. She wore an apron constantly and I suppose that, when I was younger, I considered it to be a symbol of matriarchy the queen of the home and the magical cloth that helped make the meals taste so good!
