News From Gucci - The "New Jackie" and "Babouska" Handbags

The new "Jackie", a fresh and modern reinterpretation of the legendary Jackie Bag, is designed by Gucci Creativ Director Frida Giannini. First designed in the 1950s the bag became one of Jaqueline Onassis' favorite accessory and was soon known als "The Jackie". The "Gucci for UNICEF" Babouska, a rivet covered bag made of shiny Crystal GG from Gucci, is the latest model created by Frida Giannini in favour of UNICEF and it's life-saving activities in Central Africa. The new bag is available in Gucci Stores worldwide and online from Feb. 1st 2009 until Jan. 31st 2010.
