Wholesale Jeans - A Tribute to the Fathers of Blue Jeans

One of Levi's customer was a tailor named Jacob Davis, he regularly purchase bolts of cloth form the wholesale house of Levi Strauss & Co. Among Jacob's customer was a difficult man who kept ripping the pockets of the pants that Jacob made for him. Jacob held a proposal to Levi trough a letter, the latter saw the potential of the product in the market and agreed to be Jacob's business partner. With the patent secured, Levi Strauss hired Jacob Davis to oversee production of the Levi Strauss & Co. San Francisco plant.
