It is amazing the difference between people who live on the East Coast and people who live on the West Coast, especially when they go to parties and dress up. Folks that live in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, or in Washington DC area like to go to balls and parties were every gentleman is in a Tuxedo, and the women wear formal dresses. One would assume that people of wealth and privilege to dress up and go to these events to be seen by one another, to make deals, and prove to each other and themselves that they are the movers and shakers.
